Corporate Branding Agency
So, what is branding? Put simply, it is the public face of your company. The phrase originated from branding livestock to prove ownership.
At the very simplest level, it is your company logo, or marque, as it is often referred. This will ideally be something that is visually simple to understand, creates a positive reaction, implicitly infers professional and credible credentials - and ideally includes some reference to the type of business that you are in, or an attribute of your company - or both.
But a brand is much more than a logo. It is the visual representation of the values of a business. That is what is meant by brand values. A company can have many divisions and each can have many products and services. There is often (but not always) a relationship between these hierarchies and this image is conveyed by many means, including; photographic style, colour palette, font typefaces, tone of voice, illustration, logo positioning, media-specific issues etc. These are the basic rules.
These rules form the basis of corporate brand guidelines to ensure consistency of use across different forms of media.
